The same rates apply as for projects, except for initial free consultation. Brief communications are also free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EDITING DEFINITIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Research<\/strong>. Finding information to support the writing of a work or to verify information already supplied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Content Editing<\/strong>. The terms <em>substantive editors<\/em>, <em>content editors<\/em>, and <em>line editors<\/em>\n  are often used interchangeably for significant changes to a \nmanuscript,  such as rewriting and reorganizing the text. Includes \nwritten feedback  on the structure and idea of the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Copy Editing<\/strong>. After the structure and content are in good shape, copyediting ensures correct spelling, grammar, usage, and punctuation, checks cross-references, and ensures consistency and accuracy across the manuscript. When I review the work for an estimate, I\u2019ll tell you whether the work requires \u201cheavier\u201d treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Proofreading<\/strong>. Final read-through for submission-ready project. Will check the text for errors, including typographical errors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WEBSITE WRITING, GRAPHICS, AND EDITING<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Experienced in Squarespace and WordPress.
